Job Description

Position Overview Premier Pools & Spas is seeking an organized, dependable, and highly motivated Scheduler to join our team. The Scheduler plays a critical role in keeping our swimming pool construction projects moving efficiently from excavation through completion. This position serves as a central point of communication between our customers, construction team, project managers, trade partners, vendors, and inspectors. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who can manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining accurate schedules and providing a great customer experience. A major part of this position involves managing projects through our construction management CRM, JobTread. The successful candidate must be comfortable working extensively on a computer, learning new software, maintaining accurate digital records, and using technology to manage day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Manage projects and scheduling through our CRM system, JobTread. This position requires daily and extensive use of JobTread to manage schedules, project information, communications, work orders, documents, notes, and construction progress. Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within JobTread so Project Managers, Operations Managers, and other team members have reliable real-time information. Coordinate and maintain construction schedules for multiple swimming pool projects. Schedule trade partners and subcontractors for each phase of construction, including excavation, steel, plumbing, gunite, tile and coping, decking, electrical, plaster, and other phases. Work closely with Project Managers and Operations Managers to keep projects progressing on schedule. Communicate daily with subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and internal team members. Coordinate permits and required inspections with cities, counties, and other authorities. Monitor project progress and adjust schedules due to weather, inspections, material availability, construction delays, or other changes. Communicate scheduling updates and construction expectations to customers. Maintain accurate project schedules, notes, documentation, and updates within JobTread. Issue and track work orders and coordinate approved change orders when necessary. Coordinate material deliveries and confirm that materials and trade partners are ready for upcoming construction phases. Assist with scheduling warranty and service-related work when needed. Identify scheduling conflicts before they create unnecessary project delays. Follow up with trade partners to ensure scheduled work is completed on time and meets Premier Pools & Spas standards. Work with the construction team to help maintain company goals for construction timelines and customer satisfaction. Maintain professional and positive relationships with customers, employees, vendors, and trade partners. Computer & Technology Requirements Because the majority of scheduling and project management is handled digitally through JobTread, strong computer skills are essential for this position.
The successful candidate must:
Be highly comfortable working on a computer throughout the workday. Be able to quickly learn and become proficient in JobTread. Be comfortable navigating CRM and construction management software. Have strong data-entry skills with a high level of accuracy. Be able to manage digital schedules, work orders, documents, customer information, notes, and project communications. Be comfortable with email, Microsoft Office, web-based applications, and other common business software. Understand the importance of keeping CRM information current and accurate so the entire team is working from the same information. Be willing to learn new technology and processes as our company continues to improve its systems. Previous JobTread experience is a major plus but is not required. Strong overall computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly are required. Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage a high volume of projects and changing priorities. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Strong computer and technology skills. Ability to learn and become proficient with JobTread. Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment. Ability to solve problems and make scheduling adjustments quickly. Previous scheduling, construction, project coordination, or administrative experience is preferred. Swimming pool construction experience is a plus but not required. What We're Looking For The right person for this position is someone who takes ownership.
