Job Description
Operations & Order Management Coordinator - DistributionA fast-growing distribution company is adding an Operations & Order Management Coordinator to its team. This is a high-visibility administrative position for someone who enjoys working with orders, customers, inventory, sales, and operations all at once.
You'll become one of the central points of contact between customers and internal teams, helping make sure orders are entered correctly and move through the business without unnecessary delays.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnter and manage customer orders from initial submission through fulfillmentReview orders for pricing, quantities, shipping details, and accuracyCoordinate with warehouse teams regarding inventory availabilityCommunicate order updates to customers and sales representativesTrack backorders, shortages, and delayed shipmentsPrepare order status reportsMaintain accurate customer and order informationAssist with returns, credits, and order correctionsCoordinate with purchasing when inventory needs to be replenishedResearch discrepancies between orders, shipments, and invoicesPrepare recurring operational reportsAssist with customer account updatesSupport sales and operations with administrative projectsIdentify recurring order issues and help develop process improvements
