The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that orders are prepared and delivered efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers to create an exceptional dining experience. Duties Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely delivery. Monitor the preparation of food items to guarantee adherence to quality and presentation standards. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including cooking, cutting, and plating dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order modifications or special requests from customers. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. • Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is helpful. Experience in banquet service or large-scale event catering is a plus. Strong communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration among team members. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A background in hospitality or culinary arts is advantageous but not required. Must possess a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
