Contract:
13 weeks, with potential for extension or permanent placement We are seeking a detail-oriented healthcare professional with at least 1 year of recent Radiology scheduling experience to support a high-volume outpatient imaging environment.
Responsibilities:
Accurately process and enter 150-200 physician imaging orders received by fax each day. Review imaging orders for completeness and accuracy before scheduling. Schedule outpatient procedures, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, mammography, and other Radiology services. Verify patient demographics and complete patient registration. Perform insurance verification and collect required patient information. Coordinate with physician offices, patients, and internal departments. Provide appointment preparation instructions and scheduling follow-up. Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and other scheduling systems. Ensure appointments are scheduled correctly to support patient care and insurance requirements. Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of recent Radiology scheduling experience required. Experience scheduling outpatient imaging procedures. Epic EMR experience strongly preferred. Experience with patient registration and insurance verification preferred. Strong computer, data entry, and keyboarding skills. Knowledge of medical terminology. Ability to accurately interpret physician imaging orders. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to process high volumes of work while maintaining accuracy. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
Pay:
$26.00 - $29.00 per hour
