X Facebook Pinterest Copy Link WhatsApp Email Share Share this job Facebook X LinkedIn Email Scheduler Support Norfolk, VA Apply for this job Scheduler Support Position Overview The Scheduler Support role assists in the planning, preparation, and maintenance of production schedules for industrial and commercial programs. This position works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate sequencing, lead times, and on-time delivery of projects. Key Responsibilities Production Scheduling Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules for bids and newly awarded contracts Support pre-planning activities to ensure realistic and executable timelines Contract Review Review contract changes during bid and post-award phases Evaluate schedule impacts and communicate necessary adjustments Coordination & Collaboration Partner with PMO, Estimating, Contracts, Planning, and Production teams Help align resources, timelines, and deliverables to create executable schedules Problem Solving Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts and constraints Support development of solutions for increasingly complex scheduling challenges Accountability Ensure schedules and deliverables are completed accurately and on time Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards Qualifications Education Associate's degree in a related field (2+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree) Experience 2+ years of experience in the ship maintenance industry Required Skills Proficiency in scheduling tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint) Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Basic understanding of industry practices, terminology, and standards Work Environment Primarily office-based role Occasional travel to customer sites or internal locations may be required High level of collaboration with cross-functional teams Performance Expectations Work is evaluated based on accuracy, judgment, and overall effectiveness Accountable for successful completion of assigned schedules and project goals
Pay Rate:
