Job Description

Are you the person who can solve the scheduling puzzle when plans suddenly change? We're looking for a Staffing Coordinator who is organized, calm under pressure, great with people, and genuinely enjoys solving problems. You'll be at the center of our in home care operation, matching caregivers with clients, filling open shifts, responding to call-outs, communicating with clients and caregivers, and working alongside our Care Management team to make sure the people we serve receive dependable care. This isn't a quiet data-entry scheduling position. It's a role for someone who likes people, thinks on their feet, takes ownership of problems, and gets satisfaction from making a complicated schedule work. What You'll Do Scheduling & Staffing Coordinate caregiver and client schedules throughout our service area Match caregivers with clients based on availability, skills, location, and client needs Fill open shifts and respond to caregiver call-outs and schedule changes Communicate schedule updates promptly with clients, caregivers, and the Care Management team Help maintain continuity of care and minimize unfilled client hours Monitor scheduling and telephony records for accuracy Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our scheduling system Participate in the agency's after-hours on-call rotation Client & Caregiver Support Answer incoming calls professionally and respond promptly to client and caregiver needs Serve as a liaison between clients, caregivers, the Staffing team, and Care Managers Assist with caregiver and client concerns and help resolve scheduling-related issues Occasionally conduct caregiver introductions or assist with client visits in the field Team & Administrative Support Participate in regular Staffing and Care Management meetings Assist with caregiver recruitment, hiring, orientation, and training as needed Maintain complete and accurate records Assist with other office and operational responsibilities as needed What We're Looking For We're especially interested in someone who has experience in home care, healthcare, staffing, scheduling, or another fast-paced service environment .
Our ideal candidate:
Is highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities at once Remains calm and solutions-focused when schedules change unexpectedly Communicates clearly and professionally by phone, email, text, and in person Provides excellent service to both clients and employees Demonstrates good judgment and can make decisions independently Has strong attention to detail and follow-through Works well as part of a collaborative team Is comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and web-based applications Has prior scheduling or workforce-management software experience, or the ability to learn it quickly Has prior home care or healthcare experience; scheduling/staffing experience is strongly preferred An associate degree and/or 3+ years of relevant experience is preferred, but we value demonstrated ability and relevant experience over a specific educational background. Requirements Ability to participate in an after-hours on-call rotation Valid Washington driver's license, reliable transportation, and required auto insurance Ability to travel locally when needed for client or caregiver visits Ability to meet applicable background-check and pre-employment requirements Ability to communicate effectively in English as required to perform the position Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package that rewards both individual performance and the success of our team: $23.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on relevant experience Quarterly performance bonus Employer-paid health insurance Employer-paid dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) with company matching Paid time off Health savings account Life insurance Employee assistance program Professional development assistance Tuition reimbursement Employee referral program
Schedule Full-time:
