OBJECTIVE
In a positive and cheerful manner, educate, counsel and schedule patients for laser vision correction and other types of refractive surgery. Gather pre-operative information from referring doctors, communicate with patients to help them understand various procedures' risks and benefits, and share pertinent medical records with our medical/surgical team.

Refractive Surgery Counselor Manager
STATUS 3/4
time (30-39 hours per week)
SCHEDULE
Monday - Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
REQUIRED SKILLS
Excellent customer service skills General office skills such as telephone, keyboarding & filing Mid-level computer knowledge Excellent accuracy and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication Pleasant, cooperative and flexible personality Honesty Confidentiality Ability to cope with change Excellent troubleshooting ability
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Acute Hearing for telephones Good visual acuity for screens, keyboards, forms etc. Good hand-eye coordination for telephones and keyboards Lift up to 25 pounds Reach and stoop to file levels Sit for extended periods of time
