OBJECTIVE
In a positive and cheerful manner, serve as the patient and optometrist contact regarding appointment scheduling, billing procedures, out-of-pocket expenses and transportation requests.
REPORTS TO
Site Manager
STATUS 3/4
time (30-39 hours per week)
SCHEDULE
Monday-Thursday 8:00 am•5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am•1:00 pm. However, work hours for this position vary based on location, patient schedules and clinic needs.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Working computer knowledge•experienced in Microsoft Word Good communication skills, written and verbal Pleasant, cooperative, caring attitude Good listening skills The ability to work with a team to set and to achieve common goals Attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Multitasking and prioritizing
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Able to sit for an extended period of time Reach and stoop to file levels Answer telephone Acute hearing Lift up to 50 pounds Use keyboard
