Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Expeditor, you will handle a wide variety of non-skilled facility-related maintenance and repairs, keeping our spaces safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Every day you will take on tasks such as minor plumbing repairs, pressure washing, painting, and light bulb replacements, while also assisting with tenant or departmental moves. You may drive a Franciscan Health System vehicle to various sites for parts pick-up and to transport equipment between locations.
To be successful in this role you will bring hands-on maintenance skills, reliability, and the flexibility to handle a variety of tasks across different sites. Maintains areas of responsibility in a clean and orderly manner, performing minor interior repairs including, but not limited to, ceiling tile replacements, repair of wall penetrations, and other tasks of similar scope. Performs minor maintenance repairs and installations using hand and power tools, including, but not limited to, plumbing maintenance such as faucet/toilet parts replacement and trap removal and electrical maintenance such as light bulb replacement. Assists in any tenant or departmental relocation of equipment; removal of waste or other items may be required; may transport equipment between FHS facilities. Performs exterior building maintenance to include, but not limited to, litter pick-up, pressure washing, and exterior painting.
