Long-Term Opportunity Work Hours:
Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Please note that 10-hour shifts are mandatory, and you must be flexible to work overtime and Saturdays as business needs arise.
Role Overview:
Our Phoenix-based custom window fabrication facility is looking for a dependable, detail-focused Shipping & Receiving Clerk. You will play a vital role in our operations by managing the flow of incoming and outgoing goods, keeping precise inventory records, and facilitating production workflows to meet customer deadlines.
Core Duties:
Verify, inspect, and process all incoming shipments and supplies. Ensure finished window products are securely packaged and prepared for delivery to help meet our shipping deadlines. Operate pallet jacks or forklifts to load and unload freight. Keep meticulous records of all shipping and receiving documentation and inventory levels. Collaborate with the production team to ensure all necessary materials are ready for use. Systematically label, arrange, and store all inventory items to improve warehouse efficiency. Conduct thorough quality inspections on all incoming and outgoing shipments. Support the team by assisting with regular inventory counts and tracking. Help maintain a clean and safe work environment for the entire team.
Required Qualifications:
Prior experience in a warehouse or shipping and receiving role. Experience in manufacturing or fabrication, specifically with glass, windows, or construction materials, is preferred. Proficiency in reading shipping documents, work orders, and packing slips. Competency with basic computer systems. Physical ability to stand for extended shifts and lift up to 50 lbs. Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail. Dependability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to commit to 10-hour shifts and extra hours. Availability to work Saturdays when required. Requirement to wear steel-toe boots. Possession of forklift certification is considered an advantage. Benefits of the
