#90319 Job Description Our DoD/Aerospace Client is looking to fill a Senior Shipping Associate position supporting critical defense manufacturing and logistics operations. This role offers the opportunity to work within a secure environment responsible for shipping mission-critical materials while ensuring compliance with company procedures and government regulations. The position is based in Scottsdale, AZ and is 100% onsite .

High School Diploma or equivalent plus 2+ years of shipping, logistics, materials, or related experience

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00

Must be eligible to obtain access to classified information; U.S. Citizenship required Position Overview As the Senior Shipping Associate, you'll be responsible for supporting outbound shipping and logistics operations within a secure defense manufacturing environment. You'll ensure materials are packaged, documented, routed, and shipped accurately while maintaining compliance with company procedures and government regulations. This role combines hands-on warehouse activities with clerical shipping responsibilities, including carrier selection, shipment tracking, shipping documentation, and coordination with internal teams. You'll play a key role in ensuring materials move efficiently and securely throughout the supply chain while supporting mission-critical programs. Daily responsibilities include processing outbound shipments, verifying shipping documentation, tracking deliveries, coordinating priorities with internal stakeholders, handling classified materials, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum 2 years of shipping, logistics, materials, warehouse, or related experience Working knowledge of shipping and logistics processes Experience preparing and verifying shipping documentation, including bills of lading and shipping records Ability to utilize computer systems to process, route, and track shipments Ability to verify quantities, weights, and shipment accuracy Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to coordinate with planners, material managers, production teams, and internal customers Ability to work independently and within a team environment Ability to lift heavy items as required Ability to operate forklifts or other powered industrial vehicles Experience handling materials within a regulated environment U.S. Citizenship required Must be eligible for access to classified information and successfully complete a U.S. Government security investigation
