In this role, you'll be the backbone of our warehouse distribution process, ensuring that inventory is accurately managed, shipments are processed efficiently, and customer orders are fulfilled with precision. Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm Responsibilities Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels, update records, and ensure data accuracy. Assist with order picking and packing, ensuring items are correctly selected and prepared for shipment. Load and unload trucks using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, following safety protocols at all times. Conduct shipping & receiving activities, verifying shipments against purchase orders and delivery documentation. Maintain organized stockrooms by stocking shelves, labeling products, and managing inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. Prepare items for shipment by packaging goods securely, adhering to trade compliance standards and international trade regulations when applicable. Support warehouse distribution efforts by coordinating with logistics teams to optimize shipping logistics and order fulfillment timelines. Perform regular inventory counts using ERP systems like AS400 or MRP software to ensure inventory accuracy. Enter data accurately into warehouse operations systems, including MS Office tools for reporting purposes. Assist in maintaining a safe work environment by following proper safety procedures during all warehouse activities. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations including order picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and inventory management software is essential. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment is advantageous; certification is a plus. Basic math skills are necessary for counting stock, measuring packages, and verifying quantities accurately. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms, and logistics processes will help you succeed. Strong data entry skills combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications support effective record keeping. Excellent customer service skills to assist internal teams or external partners when needed. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities within a fast-paced warehouse setting while maintaining attention to detail.
