Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented New Order and Receiving Specialist to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, processing new orders, and ensuring seamless inventory flow. Your expertise in warehouse management systems, shipping logistics, and inventory management software will drive efficiency and accuracy across our distribution operations. Duties Receive and inspect inbound shipments, verifying quantities and condition against purchase orders using warehouse management systems. Accurately enter data related to shipments, inventory updates, and order processing using inventory management software. Coordinate with warehouse distribution teams ensuring proper stocking, picking & packing, and order fulfillment procedures are followed. Manage order picking, packing, and staging for outbound deliveries while maintaining high accuracy levels through effective data entry and inventory control practices. Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize shipping & receiving schedules, monitor delivery timelines, and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly. Maintain detailed records of all transactions, shipments, and inventory movements to support audit readiness and process improvements. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations with familiarity in warehouse distribution, shipping logistics, and inventory management. Strong proficiency with warehouse management systems and inventory management software. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts, order quantities, and shipping documentation. Excellent data entry skills coupled with attention to detail to ensure precise record-keeping of all transactions. Outstanding customer service skills to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors or carriers. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
