Job description: We are actively seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our fast-paced, fast-growing contract manufacturing PCB Assembly company.
Responsibilities:
- Verify incoming shipments — unload trucks, count items, and compare contents with purchase orders, manifests, or packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect incoming shipments — check for damage or discrepancies and document exceptions before accepting or refusing delivery.
- Record receiving data — enter quantities, and vendor details into receiving logs.
- Basic computer/data entry skills
- Prepare outgoing shipments — pick items, pack, seal, and label according to customer requirements.
- Keep work area clean and follow safety rules.
- Resolve issues — work with carriers or internal teams to fix shortages, overages, damages, or non‑conforming shipments
Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience as a shipping receiving clerk.
Education:
High school diploma or GED.- Able to read travelers and shipping instructions.
- Attention to detail.
- Clear verbal/written communication; collaborates effectively with peers.
- Standing extended periods, ability to lift up to 25 Lbs.
