Job Description

We are passionate about your career Volt is immediately hiring for Shipping and Receiving Clerks for a Manufacturing Company In Lake Forest, California. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk you will: Perform material receiving transactions physically and in JDE (ERP system to maintain accurate receiving logs. Interact with Quality Control to verify customer and company specifications are met. Allocate and release pick lists and generate packing lists. Pull parts from inventory for work orders, sales orders, and material transactions. Package and crate parts for shipments to protect from shipping & handling damage. Arrange pick-ups and shipping with freight carriers such as UPS, FedEx, etc. Maintain accurate shipping logs. Assign incoming stock's warehouse location per FIFO. Place incoming stock into inventory warehouse. Perform material requisition and inventory transactions in JDE. Perform cycle counts (physical count and reconciliation of variances) Close production work orders when complete Ability to check and manage emails in Outlook. Send ASNs where necessary. Department clean-up & maintenance Adopt and implement the Quality Assurance Procedures-QAP and Departmental Work Instructions-DWI, identified in QEMS Employee Training Matrix located on the LAN. Other duties as assigned. This is a Full-Time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
High School Graduate or equivalent Sit-down and Stand-up reach Forklift experience. Experience with UPS & FedEx On-line Shipping Two years' experience in receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm
Pay Rate:
$20.00-$23.00 •Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should
