Job Description

Full Steam Staffing is hiring a Shipping Clerk in Livingston, CA! We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping and receiving operations. This position will coordinate incoming and outgoing products, materials, and supplies while ensuring shipping documents, orders, and system information are accurate and up to date.

Benefits:
Medical, Dental, AD&D ResponsibilitiesCheck orders in the shipping area against reports and print any missing documents.

Review processed orders in the system and print product allocations for the Shipping Manager.

Add special instructions to orders and ensure all required markings and labels are documented.

Prepare pallet labels for outgoing shipments.

Communicate with trucking companies to schedule pickup appointments.

Research freight rates and arrange transportation as needed.

Dispatch trucks and coordinate shipping schedules.

Update product locations for inter-company transfers.

Schedule daily USDA and phytosanitary (phyto) inspections.

Complete all required paperwork for shipped orders and process shipments in the system.

Fax Bills of Lading to customers.

Coordinate products and paperwork moving between divisions.

Distribute work to forklift drivers when needed.

During peak season, weigh trucks in and out, collect copies of required paperwork, receive product into the system, schedule USDA inspections, and coordinate samples from incoming loads.

Follow all company safety, hygiene, and work rules.

Maintain compliance with applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulations.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. RequirementsHigh school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate.

At least 6 months of relevant experience.

SAP experience preferred.

Intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.

Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of or experience with food processing plant regulations and practices, including:
