Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient processing of shipments, ensuring that products are properly prepared, packaged, and dispatched in a timely manner. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth warehouse operations, support order fulfillment, and uphold high standards of safety and accuracy. Duties Prepare and package orders using appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery, including wrapping, boxing, and labeling items accurately. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks to load, unload, and move inventory efficiently. Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, process shipments, and update order statuses with precision. Maintain organized stock areas by stocking shelves systematically and conducting regular inventory counts for stock accuracy. Collaborate with team members to load and unload trucks safely while adhering to safety protocols for warehouse distribution. Qualifications Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or in shipping & receiving roles is highly preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment and inventory management. Basic math skills for counting items, calculating weights or quantities, and verifying shipment details. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining safety standards. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and carriers effectively.
