Shipping Clerk Job Overview:

Flyin' Miata is seeking a full-time Shipping Clerk to perform shipping, receiving, assembly, inventory, and warehouse support activities. You will ensure products are received, stored, assembled, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently in support of company operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping, Receiving & Assembly Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory in designated warehouse locations while maintaining accurate records. Pick products accurately from designated warehouse locations to fulfill customer and internal orders. Pack products into appropriate boxes for applicable shipping services (USPS, FedEx, freight) and log customer/shipping data into software. Assemble pre-packaged kits and other products as required. Review shipping information for completeness/accuracy, identify address discrepancies, and coordinate with Customer Support. Process order cancellation requests and monitor shipping-related communications. Operate a forklift (certification training provided) to unload trucks and move products around the warehouse. Monitor shipping supply inventory and notify the Shipping Lead when replenishment is needed. Inventory Control & Freight Documentation Inspect inventory for quality, damage, and accuracy; advise if items are out of place. Participate in physical inventory counts and report discrepancy information to the Data Analyst. Prepare appropriate paperwork for international orders and freight shipments. Initiate tracers and claims on lost or damaged shipments in a timely manner. General & Warehouse Support Enter weights and dimensions of new products into the system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse, shipping, and work areas (including breaking down boxes for recycling). Assist with pre-event preparation for Miata events as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Warehouse, shipping/receiving, assembly, or inventory control experience preferred. Strong written and verbal English communication skills. High attention to detail, strong troubleshooting skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Computer literacy with the ability to learn job-specific software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid forklift operator certification (training provided). Valid driver's license required for operating company vehicles. Ability to reliably report to work as scheduled.

Physical Demands & Working Environment:

Ability to regularly lift and carry products up to 50 lbs. Mobility for reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, stretching, and prolonged sitting or standing on concrete floors. Visual acuity to view screens, read data, and verify printed materials. Hearing capability for phone communication and team coordination. Comfort working in office, warehouse, and shipping environments with exposure to seasonal temperature variations.
