Job Description
Receiving Associate (Driver)Position Summary The Receiving Associate (Driver) is responsible for safely transporting materials and products as directed by Boulder Foods. The primary responsibility of this position is driving, with additional assistance unloading deliveries at Horizon. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is not required for this position. A valid driver's license is required. Experience operating trucks equipped with air brakes is preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely drive company vehicles to transport materials and products to designated locations. Follow assigned delivery and transportation routes and schedules. Assist with unloading materials and products at Horizon. Safely position the vehicle for unloading and delivery. Assist with handling and moving materials during unloading as needed. Inspect the vehicle before and after trips and report any safety or maintenance concerns. Follow all company, transportation, and safety procedures. Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and work area. Communicate with Receiving and other departments regarding deliveries and unloading activities. Complete required delivery or transportation paperwork. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid driver's license required. CDL is not required. Previous experience driving trucks or delivery vehicles preferred. Experience operating trucks with air brakes preferred. Safe driving record preferred. Ability to safely assist with unloading materials at Horizon. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
