Job Description

Position Summary As a shipping representative, you will play an important role in ensuring customer orders are accurately processed, packaged, and shipped on time. You'll support daily shipping operations, inventory transactions, and receiving activities while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone eager to learn and grow. Primary Responsibilities Responsible for shipping customer orders with the goal of meeting or exceeding customer delivery expectations, ensuring company, ship to location and shipping method are in accordance with Pack List instructions. Responsible for the preparation and processing of international shipments, including filing all paperwork with proper international agencies and making sure correct documentation is included with export shipments. Responsible for tracking daily shipping report to make sure orders are being issued correctly and to be able to locate orders that are to be shipped that day. Create and process shipments using UPS, FedEx, and other shipping software, this includes address book maintenance. Monitor daily shipping schedules to ensure on-time delivery. Support the Inspection Department with receiving, inspection, and material handling activities. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly. Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday. Comfortable performing physical work. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate to occasionally high noise levels and varying temperatures.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
