Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments in a light production/office environment. Responsibilities
- Retrieve incoming mail and packages from delivery drivers and local USPS.
- Must be able to lift 100lbs unassisted.
- Open packages, verify contents to packaging documents, and log receipt.
- Prepare intake documents as needed.
- Verify contents of outgoing orders to accompanying paperwork and carefully package them for shipment via Fedex, UPS or USPS.
- Transfer outgoing packages to delivery drivers or to Fedex and USPS as occasionally needed.
- Track packaging materials inventory and reorder as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized work area. Experience
- Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role required.
- Keen attention to detail required.
- Knowledge of Stamps.com and Fedex shipping applications desired
- Knowledge of Google Docs and Microsoft Excel desired.
