Runway Recycled Inc., a 501(c)(3) sustainable-fashion nonprofit, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Temporary Fashion Inventory Control Lead to help organize, verify and document more than 600 women's fashion items. This is a paid, hands-on project for someone who enjoys creating order, working with fashion inventory and maintaining accurate records. The selected candidate will work directly with Runway Recycled's founder inside our Clearwater storage and e-commerce workspace.

Responsibilities:

Locate and identify physical garments throughout the inventory Match garments to their corresponding Poshmark listings Verify brand, category, size, condition and listing status Assign or confirm SKU numbers Record each item's bag, rack, shelf, bin or storage location Update and maintain a Google Sheets inventory tracker Label and place garments into protective bags Identify missing, duplicated, damaged or incorrectly labeled items Prepare garments for photography, measurements and online listings Assist with light photography, steaming, folding, packing and shipping preparation Help integrate additional inventory arriving from New Jersey Maintain an exception list for items requiring research or correction The ideal candidate is: Highly organized, dependable and attentive to detail Comfortable using Google Sheets and entering data accurately Able to follow a consistent inventory and labeling process Experienced in retail inventory, stockrooms, fashion, e-commerce or resale platforms Familiar with Poshmark or a similar platform Comfortable standing, bending, sorting garments and moving light boxes Willing to ask questions rather than make assumptions about unidentified merchandise Able to provide two professional or personal references Equipped with reliable transportation to the Clearwater area

Schedule:

This temporary project runs October 10-31, 2026. Work will generally be completed in supervised 3-4-hour shifts totaling approximately 10-15 hours per week. Most shifts will be scheduled between October 10 and October 27. Limited shifts may be available October 28-30. All onsite work will be scheduled directly with the founder and completed while the founder is present. The selected candidate will not receive independent or unsupervised access to the storage workspace.

Compensation:
