In this role, you will work with the manager with the day to day jobs to be packed, shipped and received. Duties Receive incoming shipments by inspecting deliveries, verifying quantities against purchase orders, and documenting receipt and inventory management software Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products accurately according to order specifications Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and efficiently to load and unload trucks Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts, inventory management system updates, and cycle counts Ensure compliance with safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all material handling activities Coordinate with warehouse management to optimize storage space, organize stock locations, and facilitate smooth warehouse distribution operations Assist in maintaining a clean, organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and participating in routine safety audits Skills Proven experience operating warehouse material handling equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software (including AS400), and RF scanner technology Excellent manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely while following proper techniques for heavy lifting and stocking Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing processes, and logistics best practices Ability to adhere strictly to safety regulations including OSHA standards and safety protocol adherence during all operations Technical proficiency in operating various types of heavy equipment safely within a fast-paced warehouse environment Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly

Pay:

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
