We are hiring an experienced Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for an industrial/manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on position that combines shipping and receiving duties, inventory documentation, computer work, and customer/vendor communication. A significant portion of the work will be performed outdoors, so candidates must be comfortable working in Florida heat, humidity, and changing weather conditions. Responsibilities Check incoming and outgoing trucks in and out Document all incoming and outgoing loads accurately Count and verify material against packing slips and shipping documents Inspect material for accuracy and visible damage Take clear photos of material when it is received and before it is shipped Properly label, tag, flag, and identify material Keep customer orders and materials organized Maintain accurate records of material entering and leaving the facility Identify and report shortages, discrepancies, damaged material, or incorrect shipments Communicate with customers, vendors, drivers, and internal team members as needed Send and respond to emails regarding shipments and material Enter and update shipping and receiving information in the company computer system Assist with other shipping, receiving, and material-handling responsibilities as needed What We're Looking For The right person for this position is highly organized and detail oriented . Accurate counting, identification, labeling, and documentation of material are extremely important in this role.

Candidates should be:

Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment Comfortable spending significant time outdoors Able to work in Florida heat and changing weather conditions Experienced with shipping, receiving, inventory, material handling, or a related position Comfortable using Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and email Able to learn a company-specific computer system Confident communicating with customers, vendors, drivers, and coworkers Dependable and able to stay organized while handling multiple incoming and outgoing orders Preferred Experience Previous experience in manufacturing, steel, metal fabrication, industrial coating, construction, or a similar environment is strongly preferred.
