Your Role Responsible for all functions and paperwork relating to receiving Operates machinery including baler and forklift in a safe and proper manner Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for receiving all products entering the store Invoice management Receives all product for the store, inspecting for shortages, overages, damage, and quality. Works closely with the inventory manager to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials. Delivers or routes products to appropriate departments or storage areas. About You 1-2 years prior receiving experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience Able to understand proper retail receiving Ability to perform basic math operations Basic computer knowledge Able to communicate professionally with vendors and team members Ability to exert moderate, though not constant, physical effort - typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Requires the ability to reach, bend, balance, lift and transport various objects weighing up to 40 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Requires the ability to move heavier objects with assistance.
