Job Description
The position will be responsible for managing the shipment of goods, ensuring accuracy in order processing, and maintaining excellent communication with carriers and customers. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices. Verify and record outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in order quantities, addresses, and product specifications. Inspect and pack products for shipment, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage during transit. Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and request restocks as needed. Track and report shipment statuses, resolving any issues or delays that arise. Communicate with internal departments, including sales, customer service, and warehouse staff, to ensure smooth shipping operations. Assist in the development and implementation of shipping procedures and policies to improve efficiency. Perform data entry and maintain accurate shipping records in the company's database.
