About the role We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, packaging, labeling, and shipping outgoing products and materials. You will play a critical part in ensuring orders are shipped accurately, on time, and in excellent condition. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse or fulfillment environment. What you'll do Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards. Verify shipping details such as addresses, weights, and quantities. Accurately print and attach shipping labels, invoices, and packing slips. Inspect items for damage or discrepancies before shipment. Use shipping software and systems (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS) to process outbound shipments. Maintain a clean and organized shipping area. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customer service as needed. Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a shipping, warehouse, or logistics role preferred. Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, dollies). Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching. Must be able to safely handle boxes, pallets, and other shipping materials.
