Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION - PURPOSE OF ROLE
The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for accurately preparing, packaging, and shipping machine parts to customers in a timely manner. This role ensures all outgoing shipments meet quality, safety, and documentation standards, supporting efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction within the manufacturing operation.
Essential Functions:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Pick, pack, and prepare machine parts for shipment according to customer orders and company standards. Verify accuracy of shipping documents, labels, and part numbers to ensure correct and timely delivery. Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and efficiently as required. Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling, storage, and recordkeeping. Abide by all workplace safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to support smooth order fulfillment.
Requirements Qualifications and Experience:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or equivalent (required). Prior warehouse, shipping, or manufacturing experience preferred. Familiarity with shipping systems, inventory software, or ERP systems a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
The successful candidate should: Have the ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification desirable). Possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Have effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Be proficient in basic math.
