This position is responsible for receiving materials, preparing products for shipment, maintaining accurate records, and helping keep the shipping and receiving area organized.
JOB DUTIES
Receive and inspect incoming materials and supplies. Verify quantities, part numbers, and paperwork. Prepare, package, label, and palletize products for shipment. Load and unload trucks safely. Prepare bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping documents. Schedule pickups with trucking companies and carriers. Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment as authorized. Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records. Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials. Keep the shipping and receiving area clean and organized. Follow all company safety rules and PPE requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred. Forklift experience preferred. Basic computer and math skills. Ability to read shipping documents and work orders. Good attendance and dependable work habits. Ability to lift and move materials safely. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment. Overtime and after hours work may be required without notice Position is a first shift full or part time job- Hours of operation 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
