In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient processing of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring that all items are received, stored, and dispatched in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will help maintain seamless warehouse operations, optimize inventory management, and support our commitment to exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your skills in logistics, inventory control, and warehouse procedures will make a significant impact. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using warehouse management systems and RF scanners Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately to ensure timely delivery Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks efficiently Maintain precise inventory records through data entry into inventory management software and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP platforms Manage stock levels by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies to uphold inventory accuracy Ensure compliance with shipping logistics standards, trade regulations, and international trade laws during order fulfillment Collaborate with warehouse distribution teams to optimize storage solutions, organize stock placement, and streamline warehouse operations Skills Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (e.g., AS400), and inventory management software Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and international trade regulations Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely Excellent data entry skills coupled with basic math abilities for inventory calculations and order processing Effective customer service skills to address internal requests or external carrier inquiries professionally Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes, stocking procedures, and trade compliance standards Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and safety protocols Join us as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to play a crucial role in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly!
