Downers Grove, IL Pay:
Starting pay of $24.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule:

Your responsibilities may include:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Process outgoing shipments by packaging, labeling, and preparing shipping documentation, including bills of lading and carrier paperwork. Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure they meet company quality and documentation requirements. Load and unload trucks using a forklift or manual methods while following all safety procedures. Drive company vehicles, including an F-150 and box truck, for local pickups and deliveries as needed. Maintain accurate inventory and shipping/receiving transactions within the Infor ERP system. Schedule carrier pickups and coordinate inbound and outbound freight. Monitor shipping priorities to ensure on-time customer deliveries. Stage materials for production and distribute incoming materials to the appropriate departments. Maintain shipping supplies and notify management when inventory needs to be replenished. Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives. Report damaged shipments, shortages, or inventory discrepancies. Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and safe. Follow company quality procedures and support
ISO 9001
2015 and AS9100D standards. Support plant operations with material movement and other logistics-related tasks as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1 to 3 years of shipping and receiving experience preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience operating a forklift preferred; certification is a plus. Experience driving pickup trucks and box trucks preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with inventory management or ERP systems (Infor experience is a plus). Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, and other shipping software is preferred. Ability to accurately read packing slips, purchase orders, shipping labels, and bills of lading. Basic math skills and the ability to maintain accurate inventory records. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the workday. Commitment to following safety procedures and company quality standards.
