Weishaupt America Inc. , located in Elgin, IL, specializes in industrial burners, and has an immediate opening for a Shipper /Receiver. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate inventory management, and supporting seamless warehouse operations. Your proactive approach will help maintain our high standards of efficiency and customer satisfaction. Duties Receive and off-load incoming shipments of spare parts and burners using a forklift. Process receipts and stock transfers accurately within the
SAGE 300 ERP
system. Route received items to designated stockroom and warehouse locations. Maintain inventory organization by ensuring all items, bins, and shelves are clearly labeled. Pick, pack, and prepare spare parts for outgoing shipments and customer will-call orders. Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure system accuracy. Investigate and report any discrepancies or errors in stock levels immediately. Coordinate with administration to complete all required logistics paperwork and follow standard operating procedures. Document shipping details for custom crates and specialized parts. Manage waste disposal and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment. Execute general maintenance and other facility duties as assigned. Experience Previous experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse operations and distribution processes OSHA and/or WHMIS safety training (Preferred but can be provided). High school diploma or equivalent certificate. Forklift certification and safe operation experience (Required). Physical ability to periodically lift and move up to 50 pounds. Software proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) and basic computer literacy. Independent worker capable of managing time with minimal supervision.
SAGE 300 ERP

$45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
