Job Description

PrideStaff is seeking dedicated Warehouse Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring that orders are fulfilled efficiently and correctly. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, demonstrate proficiency in warehouse operations, and adhere strictly to safety protocols. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to smooth warehouse distribution processes and enhance overall inventory management.
Schedule:
1st shift 8:30am-4pm
M-F Pay:
$20-$21/hr (DOE) Responsibilities Efficiently pick and pack customer orders using barcode scanning technology and warehouse management systems Load and unload shipments while adhering to safety procedures and PPE requirements Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock checks and updates within inventory management systems Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit, including materials handling and manual handling techniques Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against purchase orders Support quality control processes by inspecting items for damage or discrepancies before dispatch Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions and improve workflow efficiency Follow safety protocols diligently during all warehouse operations, including lifting and equipment operation Use RF scanners and barcode technology for order picking, packing, and inventory tracking Skills Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software Skilled in order fulfillment processes, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order quantities Familiarity with safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and manual handling Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and quality control Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors Knowledge of barcode scanning technology used in logistics operations Experience in warehouse distribution environments with a focus on efficiency and accuracy Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $21.00
