The Receiving Clerk is responsible to process all goods delivered to HYDAC in a timely and efficient manner so as to provide the earliest possible availability for customer order fulfillment, inquiry, and production processes. This position reports on the 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accurately identify, sort, count, and process goods upon receipt at HYDAC. Assure accurate data entry of purchase order receipt and posting to operating system. Perform a variety of material handling functions including but not limited to stocking and storage location maintenance. Understand HYDAC Quality Policy and Quality Objectives as related to this position. Able to interpret printed and stamped model codes, identify differences in like materials and lifting and sorting materials of different densities and weights. Operate overhead crane and perform overhead lifting safety checks. Inventory Management/Stocking/Preservation. Observe safety rules, housekeeping requirements and other company policies and work-rules. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Requirements Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English. Knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes and capabilities Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Stand-up forklift certified

Safety and Personal Protective Equipment Must adhere to all safety rules in force for the location you are in while performing your job responsibilities.
