Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our shipping department, ensuring accurate inventory management and timely processing of shipments. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and possess strong skills in using various equipment and software systems. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or packing slips. Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and labeling them accurately. Maintain accurate inventory records. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the shipping and receiving area. Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies or issues related to shipments. Perform basic math calculations to ensure accuracy in shipping weights and quantities. Skills Strong understanding of stock management practices within a distribution center environment. Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and shipment preparation. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
