Duties Receive incoming shipments by inspecting, verifying, and documenting deliveries using inventory management software and ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms. Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, labeling, and ensuring proper documentation for domestic and international trade compliance. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload trucks safely while adhering to safety protocols. Manage inventory levels through accurate data entry into warehouse management systems (WMS) and perform regular stock counts to maintain optimal inventory accuracy. Coordinate with logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring adherence to shipping logistics timelines. Assist with order fulfillment processes including order picking, packing, and shipping for e-commerce platforms or wholesale customers. Maintain organized shipping & receiving areas by stocking supplies, managing packaging materials, and ensuring a clean workspace conducive to efficient warehouse operations. Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve shipment discrepancies or delivery issues promptly. Skills Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems like AS400 or MRPs for order processing. Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, trade compliance, and international trade regulations. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment safely. Excellent data entry skills combined with basic math abilities for accurate inventory tracking and order processing. Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel for reporting and documentation purposes. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members, carriers, and customers while providing outstanding customer service. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in stocking, order picking, packaging, and load & unload tasks.
