Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Receiver, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods into our facility. This energetic position involves verifying incoming shipments, managing inventory accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations.! Responsibilities Receive and inspect inbound shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and shipping documents Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to record and track stock movements Load and unload trucks using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, adhering to safety protocols Prepare items for storage or shipment by packaging, labeling, and organizing stock efficiently Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies using data entry skills and basic math knowledge Support order picking, order fulfillment, and shipping logistics to meet delivery deadlines Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves and managing inventory levels effectively Forklift is required. Cleaning Warehouse Assembling Tables Requirements Previous experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers preferred Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for inventory management purposes Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and vendors Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and order fulfillment processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in logistics.
