Job Description

We're looking for a 1st shift Receiving Clerk for a local customer. This position will play a critical role in ensuring incoming inventory is accurately processed, tracked, and resolved. In this position, you'll serve as the central point of contact for receiving and returns-related issues while helping maintain efficient warehouse operations. The hours are 7am - 3:30pm M-F, with OT as late at 5:30pm. Pay is $20 - $22 an hour.

What You'll Do As a Receiving Clerk, you will support the daily operations of the receiving department by coordinating communication, resolving inventory discrepancies, and ensuring timely processing of incoming materials. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for receiving and returns-related questions, discrepancies, and urgent inbound material requests. Coordinate with Material Controllers, Transportation, vendors, and other departments to resolve: Purchase Order (PO) receipt issues Stock Transfer Order (STO) discrepancies Vendor shipment concerns Damaged freight investigations Trailer and container movement requests Monitor and maintain accurate records of all trailers and containers on-site. Organize, file, and maintain receiving department documentation. Identify, communicate, and help resolve receiving and return exceptions, ensuring prompt follow-up with the appropriate teams. Manage receiving issue logs and provide feedback regarding recurring vendor compliance concerns and escalation opportunities. Support Material Master data updates, additions, and change requests. Use data and reporting to identify root causes, recommend solutions, and support continuous improvement efforts. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and other operational metrics in a timely manner. What You'll Bring Strong organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience working with inventory, shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations is preferred. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.

Pay Details:
