Apply Overview Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day Apply Description Environmental Services Worker Location Onsite - Louisville, KY About the Role The Environmental Services Worker is responsible for cleaning and maintaining a facility to ensure cleanliness and sanitation. This is a seniority-based union position which reports to the Facilities & Maintenance Services Supervisor Key Responsibilities Perform general housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping, window cleaning, emptying dump carts, waste cans, etc. Empty, sort, and inventory various salvageable materials making it suitable for sale to outside vendors Use various chemicals while performing duties of cleaning sinks, commodes, urinals, etc. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed instructions, procedures, and safety requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment for the duration of the shift and complete multiple duties in a reasonable amount of time.
