Approximately 15-20 hours per week About the Role Oversize DTG is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Pre-Production, QC & Fulfillment Associate to join our garment production team in Baton Rouge. This is a part-time position averaging approximately 15-20 hours per week . The role plays an important part in keeping customer orders accurate and moving efficiently through our production facility. You will help prepare garments for printing, perform quality-control checks on completed items, and use our QR/barcode-based fulfillment system to organize completed garments into customer shipments. This is a hands-on production position that requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to stay productive in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
Our facility has air conditioning and industrial fans; however, the production area can still become hot, particularly around printing and curing equipment. Applicants should be comfortable standing and working in warm to hot conditions for extended periods. Primary ResponsibilitiesPre-Production Pretreat garments before Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing Prepare and organize customer orders for production Verify garment styles, colors, sizes, quantities, and order information Sort and stage garments based on production requirements Keep orders organized as they move into production Identify missing, incorrect, or damaged garments before printing Maintain a clean and organized pre-production area Ensure the production team has the correct garments and information needed for each order Quality Control Inspect completed garments before they are approved for fulfillment Check print quality, placement, alignment, and overall appearance Look for printing defects, stains, damage, missing prints, or incorrect garments Verify that the correct design was printed on the correct garment Confirm garment sizes, colors, quantities, and order details Separate items that need to be reprinted or corrected Communicate quality issues to the production team Help prevent defective or incorrect items from being shipped to customers Fulfillment Scan QR codes/barcodes on completed garments using handheld scanners Place completed items into designated order bins Use our fulfillment system to allocate each item to the correct customer shipment Verify that all items belonging to an order have been completed Consolidate completed items into their final shipment Identify incomplete or missing items and route them back to production Assist with folding, packing, labeling, and preparing completed orders for shipment Maintain accuracy while handling multiple customer orders at the same time What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Strong attention to detail Organized and able to keep track of multiple orders Comfortable using scanners, computers, and basic software Able to follow established procedures and workflows Able to identify small defects or inconsistencies Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on work Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Comfortable working in warm to hot production conditions Willing to learn new equipment and production systems Able to work independently while communicating clearly with the production team Previous warehouse, fulfillment, printing, manufacturing, or quality-control experience is helpful but not required We are willing to train the right candidate.
