This role involves receiving, inspecting, and recording deliveries, as well as coordinating with store management to ensure the timely availability of products on shelves. Our Receiver plays a critical role in maintaining the store's inventory accuracy and supporting the overall store operations. This is a weekday morning position.

Receiving Clerk Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments of merchandise, checking delivery documents for accuracy. Inspect delivered items for damage, defects, and quantity discrepancies. Verify the accuracy of shipments against purchase orders and packing lists. Coordinate with vendors and store management to address any rejected or damaged items and arrange for returns or replacements. Organize and store received merchandise in designated storage areas. Communicate with store managers and other departments to coordinate the availability of merchandise for sale. Log inbound receipts on daily basis and update inventory tracking system or ERP software (Spirits / ASI) Collaborate with inventory control and merchandising teams to ensure timely restocking of products on shelves. Help with store opening procedures
Receiving Clerk Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Previous experience in receiving, inventory management, or a related field is advantageous. Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate recording of merchandise and identify any discrepancies. Lift and move heavy packages and boxes. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with vendors and store staff. Excellent organizational skills to manage incoming shipments and store merchandise efficiently - keep back room clean and safe. Efficient time management skills to meet delivery schedules and prioritize tasks. Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and prioritize tasks accordingly. Adhere to health and safety guidelines while handling merchandise and operating equipment. Assist with periodic inventory checks to maintain accurate stock records. Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and delivery personnel. Maintain accurate records of received merchandise, delivery schedules, and discrepancies.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
