Job Description
Receiving Associate Leominster, MA Are you ready to play a crucial role in our client's logistics team? Our client is seeking a dedicated Receiving Associate to ensure the smooth and accurate processing of incoming shipments. Join our client's team and contribute to maintaining an efficient and organized warehouse environment. Responsibilities of the Receiving Associate Receive and unload incoming deliveries using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment as required. Inspect shipments for damage, accuracy, and compliance with purchase orders. Verify product quantities, item numbers, and documentation (packing slips, bills of lading). Record and update receiving data in warehouse management systems (WMS). Tag, label, and route received items to appropriate storage locations. Communicate shipment discrepancies or damages to supervisors and purchasing teams. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the receiving area. Follow all safety protocols and ensure proper material handling. Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock rotation. Collaborate with the warehouse team to support overall distribution operations. Requirements of the Receiving Associate High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or receiving roles (preferred). Basic computer skills; experience with WMS or ERP systems is a plus. Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills. Forklift certification preferred, but training and certification will be provided for qualified candidates.
