Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team in one our seafood industry clienbts. In this role, you will oversee the efficient management of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate processing, documentation, and compliance with shipping regulations. Your expertise will support seamless warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, experience with warehouse management systems, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the receipt and dispatch of shipments, ensuring proper documentation and labeling Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload goods safely and efficiently Prepare shipping labels, packing lists, and customs documentation in accordance with trade compliance and international trade regulations Conduct inventory management activities including stock counting, replenishment, and cycle counts Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit, adhering to quality standards Maintain accurate data entry records for all shipments using inventory management software Support order picking & packing processes for e-commerce platforms and wholesale orders Assist in maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment aligned with safety protocols Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or logistics roles Strong knowledge of inventory management software and shipping logistics procedures Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for weight, measurements, and inventory counts Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and documentation Strong customer service orientation to address internal teams' needs and external partners effectively This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to our supply chain efficiency while working in a dynamic environment.
