Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient processing of shipments, ensuring that orders are picked, packed, and dispatched in a timely manner. Your expertise will help maintain seamless warehouse operations, support inventory management, and uphold high standards of customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where precision and teamwork drive success. Responsibilities Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately using order picking and packing techniques. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to load and unload goods safely and efficiently. Manage shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like Propet 21and inventory management software to track stock levels, update records, and facilitate data entry tasks. Conduct inventory management activities including stocking, cycle counts, and stock replenishment to maintain optimal warehouse distribution. Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit while adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve shipping & receiving issues promptly and provide updates on order status. Skills Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping & receiving procedures, and logistics principles. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order fulfillment and inventory tracking. Excellent data entry skills combined with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, carriers, and customers.
Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
