Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Receiving and Shipping Associate to join our logistics and warehouse operations team. In this vital role, you will oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining smooth warehouse distribution processes, supporting order fulfillment, and managing inventory with precision. Duties Receive incoming shipments by verifying quantities and inspecting for damages using warehouse management systems and inventory management software. Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting appropriate products, packing securely, and labeling accurately in accordance with shipping & receiving protocols. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load and unload trucks efficiently. Maintain accurate data entry of inventory movements, stock levels, and shipment details using ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms. Coordinate with logistics providers to arrange shipping logistics that meet trade compliance and international trade regulations. Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update records to ensure accurate stock levels. Support order picking & packing processes for e-commerce orders, ensuring timely fulfillment. Assist in maintaining warehouse organization by stocking shelves systematically and ensuring cleanliness standards are upheld. Collaborate with customer service teams to address shipment inquiries or issues promptly. Follow safety procedures during all warehouse operations to prevent accidents or injuries. Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse management system operations, inventory management software, or warehouse distribution is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word for reporting and documentation. Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and calculations related to shipping & receiving tasks. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers. Strong understanding of shipping logistics, order fulfillment processes, and trade compliance regulations. Knowledge of international trade regulations applicable to cross-border shipments is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for inventory accuracy. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and external vendors. Warehouse experience involving stocking, packaging, order picking & packing is highly desirable.
