Key Responsibilities Mill, Bench & Block Operation:

Set up and operate straightening machines and drawing equipment for high-grade processing.

Equipment Setup:

Inspect, align, and change out drawing dies, pointing tools, and rolls used in the rolling process to maintain precise dimensional tolerances.

Precision Cutting & LMC Operations:

Set up and operate automated cutoff equipment, cold saws, or shears paired with Length Measurement/Linear Motion Controls (LMC) to ensure exact lengths and cut-to-length specs.

Quality Inspection:

Conduct frequent inline micro-measurements using gauges such as profilometer, micrometers and calipers to ensure surface finish and strict diameter/profile tolerances are met.

CNC/EDM:

Program, set up, and operate CNC and EDM machinery to precision-manufacture complex metal components according to strict engineering blueprints.

Material Handling:

Safely operate overhead cranes or forklifts to handle heavy bundles.

Process Monitoring:

Monitor tension, speed, lubrication application, and die wear to prevent defects and stay within required dimensional tolerance.

Qualifications & Skilled Requirements Pre-employment Requirements :

Physical, drug & alcohol screening, and background check required.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years in manufacturing / metal processing preferred

Work History:

Proven track record of consistent employment and reliable attendance.

Technical Skills:

Ability to read blueprints, work with tight tolerances, and proficiently use micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail, proactive safety mindset, good communication, and a strong work ethic.

Mechanical Aptitude:

Hands-on comfort with machine changeovers, die setups, blade/shear adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform standing physical labor, handle heavy materials, and safely lift at minimum up to 50 lbs. or more with mechanical aids. What We Offer Competitive compensation is reflective of your skill set and machine setup capabilities.
