3:00 PM - 12:30 AM Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Packaging Associate to support shipping, packaging, and logistics operations in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for packaging materials, preparing shipments, maintaining shipping records, creating custom packaging, and ensuring products are processed accurately and safely. The ideal candidate will be comfortable following detailed instructions, working with hand and power tools, using computer systems, and handling materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Package parts and materials according to detailed packaging instructions and established quality standards. Prepare and process domestic and international shipments. Use ERP, shipping, and logistics systems to process deliveries and maintain accurate records. Create custom packaging using hand tools and power tools. Measure, cut, and assemble packaging materials to precise specifications. Apply labels, markings, and shipping documentation according to applicable requirements. Set up and process shipments using transportation management systems. Verify shipment information, packaging requirements, and documentation for accuracy. Maintain accurate shipping and material records. Collaborate with shipping, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and other functional teams. Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures. Assist with material movement and other shipping-related activities as needed. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Experience following detailed written and verbal instructions. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. independently and participate in team lifts of up to 150 lbs. Ability to stand and move around a manufacturing environment for extended periods. Experience using hand tools such as drills, wrenches, box cutters, hammers, and measuring tools. Experience measuring, cutting, and assembling materials to specified dimensions. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word . Ability to obtain and maintain required forklift, crane, power tool, safety, and other job-related certifications. U.S. Citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in shipping, packaging, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems. Experience using shipping or transportation management systems. Familiarity with military or commercial packaging requirements. Experience with shipping documentation and labeling requirements. Forklift experience is a plus.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
