POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a motivated self-starter to learn in a dynamic environment. Previous Shipping/Receiving experience is preferred. The Company will train new hires on its processes and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Pick order, pack product and make ready for UPS, Fed Ex or USPS Pick and stage truck shipments Receive material accurately as it arrives Drive lift truck to load and unload trucks Operate Stretch Wrap machine and various shipping equipment Maintain inter-departmental stock control and rotation Keep work area clean and organized daily Work in production assembly when there is low demand in shipping (generally summer) Maintain 6S organization and safety policies

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Requires basic math to ensure quantities being shipped match order quantity Attention to detail to verify correct product is being received/shipped Must be able to work effectively in a team environment Standing for extended periods of time with moderate repetitive lifting and bending Ability to work in an organized, clean, fast paced sometimes hectic environment Exposure to hot/cold weather briefly while loading/unloading trucks on the dock Reliable and able to follow procedures for shipping quality product

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The position is full-time and permanent. The working schedule is day shift Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm . When working in production the schedule will be Monday through Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm. The position offers a competitive hourly wage with 7 tiered increases based on length of time in the position over the first two years. Annual performance reviews, discretionary bonus and profit sharing are also included as well as full benefit package.
