Temp To Full-Time Our client in Taylor, MI is searching for an experienced Office Assistant to join their team. This is a 1st shift (7:30a-4p) position, Monday-Friday with possible overtime, $18 - $20 per hour, & contract to hire. The essential function of the position will include Preparing shipping documents, advance shipping notices and other documents to insure the accurate and timely delivery of product to customers. Preparing customer invoices timely to insure the accurate billing of products and services. Comparing and verifying that information from customer orders, releases and other customer supplied documents agree with company ERP system, shipping documents and invoices. Inputting or downloading customer received orders, releases and other sales related information into company ERP system. Inputting and submitting electronic shipping and invoice related information through applicable EDI exchanges. Coordinating and prioritizing office work to meet applicable deadlines. Skills which are part of the essential functions include the ability to: Must have good communication skills (verbal & written), exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills, be able to prioritize and multitask.
General office equipment skills required:
Computer skills (MS Office & ERP system), telephone, general office equipment and related technology. #MI1
