Required Skills/Abilities:
Must have a valid driver's license Experience in a related field preferred Excellent communication skills Must be able to operate a forklift or the willingness to learn Computer skills and knowledge of data entry Ability to work in a fast-paced environment paying special attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds Must be able to ascend and descend ladders Moving about to accomplish tasks from one workstation to another throughout most of the day
Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Inspector will support the day-to-day activities and duties within a very high-volume Shipping and Receiving Department at Turbine Engine Consultants, Inc. This individual performs receipt of, shipment of, and issuance of aviation parts, products, and supplies.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Verify incoming shipments of parts and shop supplies using applicable documents Maintain a clean, professional, and organized warehouse Track and document all incoming and outgoing shipments Receiving, signing, and unloading deliveries from trucks Organizing and storing received items in appropriate area Updating the Inventory Management System with received items Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc. Comparing purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists Picking, packing, and shipping of multiple orders daily - domestic, and international Palletizing shipments Performs Haz-Mat (Hazardous Materials) identification, storage, & transportation Provides backup support for other positions and job functions in the department Performs other duties as assigned
